I grew up in a Christian home, surrounded by spiritual books. At a young age I was saved, and began to know the Lord little by little. However, I had many times of struggling in my high school and college years. I wanted to be devoted to the Lord, yet the pull of the world and my friends was at many times too much for me. I didn't like the fact that I called myself a Christian, and yet in reality, did not live my life in a close relationship with the Lord.
During my junior year in college I met another Christian at a church conference who had a similar experience to mine. During a conference we attended, we went to a Christian bookstore and together bought a spiritual book. The book was The Living and Practical Way to Enjoy Christ, by Witness Lee. I thank the Lord for His mercy in leading me to this book, because that book led me to Christ. My relationship with the Lord was strengthened and I began to love Him more and more with the turn of every page. Since then I have read many other books by Witness Lee, and I always, without fail, experience the same thing--I am brought to Christ.
